We work on the design, synthesis, pharmacological evaluation and subsequent optimization of innovative multitarget drugs for the treatment of neurological diseases, including acute (stroke), degenerative (Alzheimer&#8217;s, Parkinson&#8217;s, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, etc.) or psychiatric (major depression).<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Currently, we are especially interested in the fields of Regenerative Medicine and\u00a0Photopharmacology, through the development of neurogenic and \/ or neuroprotective agents and photoactivatable drugs, respectively.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since 2012 our group has registered 3 patents and has published more than 35 articles in renowned scientific journals. We also collaborate with companies in the pharmaceutical sector through Technological Support Agreements (Eli Lilly, DignaBiotech), R&amp;D Contracts (Noscira) and Confidentiality Agreements (Servier
